Senior Consultant - Victoria
Trent Loader is the former Director, of Career Education at Education Services Australia (ESA), which manages myfuture, the National Career Information Service.
He holds full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and is a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia (PCDAA). Trent has extensive experience in the education and social work industries gained from working with high-risk adolescents during his role as a youth worker for more than 25 years and as a secondary school teacher and VET/VCAL/ Careers Coordinator, Head of School and University Education Manager.
Academically, he has a Bachelor of Social Science (Social Welfare), Bachelor of Adult Learning & Development, Diploma in Vocational Education & Training, Diploma of Training Design & Development, Diploma of Counselling Psychology, Grad Dip in Education, Grad Dip in Management and a Master of Education.
Trent is currently a Doctoral Candidate with ACU, and his research topic, which is deeply rooted in the Chaos Theory of Careers, is investigating Adolescent Perception of Chance Events in relation to their opportunity Awareness.
Trent holds Professional membership of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) and is a Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) Registered Professional Career Development Practitioner employed part-time by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) and a Co-facilitator of the Graduate Certificate of Career Development with Career Ahead at James Cook University.
